The 42nd Annual Continuing Medical and Dental Education Conference will be held in Kos, Greece in the spring of 2024, April 22 – May 2.
Kos (pronounced “coast” without the letter T, and sometimes spelled Cos) is a small Greek island off the coast of Turkey. It has a rich history, and in addition to native inhabitants has variously been occupied by Romans, Turks, Italians, and Greeks. It contains a fortress, still standing in the center of town, which was begun in 1391 and fortified in the 15th and 16th centuries by the knights of St. John of Rhodes. Most famously, it is believed to be the birthplace of Hippocrates circa 460 BC.
The Conference will be at a new location, the Kipriotis Village Resort.
The goal of this Conference is to provide comprehensive state-of-the-art education on the latest advances in healthcare for dentists, nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians, physician’s assistants, and other healthcare professionals practicing in developing countries.

Theme Days take place on Monday and Tuesday of the first week. The official welcoming will occur on Tuesday evening, April 23. The Conference is primarily for US based physicians, dentists and other health care professionals serving in agencies/institutions/clinics outside of North America.
Families are welcome at this Conference and a comprehensive children’s program, as well as supportive women’s and men’s programs, will be provided. Please note that there are limitations to how many children we can allow to come since we are required to have certain adult to child ratios and have to recruit volunteers. Please register early if you want to be sure to have a space for your children.
